Masía ca l’Artigas / Lavern (Subirats). 5 km from Sant Sadurní (capital of cava), 12km from Vilafranca del Penedès (capital of the region), 40km from Barcelona and 10 minuts walking from Lavern Subirats railway station, Ca l'Artigas, a typical Catalan farm (masia) from the turn of last century, is surrounded by vineyards and is located in the privileged landscapes of Lavern Subirats.

Visits and workshops by Pere Guilera: oenologist and vine grower. He is the responsible person for all the making process. Visits are very pedagogical and convey real passion.

>> Little museum inside the cellars
You will find a collection of tools, machines and old photographs related to cava, wine, cereal and oil; and a sample of the Roman archeological remains that come to the surface of our vineyards during tilling. The museum will give us more insight into the family's and the Penedès' history through the remains we have been keeping.
>> Tasting Room
It is a small area we have arranged for cava tasting in optimal conditions. It includes a menu of cheeses and cold meats with guarantee of origin, a small library with books and specialized magazines about vinicultural subjects, and a small area with tourist information about the Penedès.
>> The shop: cava, art and craftwork
There you can purchase all our cavas, either in a functional version or for a gift. As you will see, we offer great quality at a reduced price. We also have a small area devoted to art and craftwork, because we believe artistic creation is an important variable in life.
>> The charm of Subirats
Enjoy a whole night among vineyards in our free parking area for motorhomes. Two nights maximum. No services offered.
